STATE COMMISSION CONFIRMS AZERBAIJANI HAS BEEN TAKEN HOSTAGE BY ARMENIANS

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva – APA. Azerbaijan’s State Commission for
Captives, Missing Persons and Hostages has confirmed that resident
of Gazakh region Telman Aliyev has been taken hostage by Armenian
servicemen.
Secretary of the commission Shahin Sailov told APA that measures are
being taken to return Telman Aliyev. Delegation of the International
Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Azerbaijan has been appealed to
regarding it.
Resident of Mazamli village of Gazakh region Telman Javanshir Aliyev,
41, crossed the border in the direction of Tavush province at 07.45
yesterday. The international organizations have been informed on the
incident and the details are being investigated.
