AZERBAIJAN SENT A PROTEST NOTE TO AUSTRALIA

Azerbaijan’s embassy in Turkey has sent a note to Australia’s
embassy in Turkey, Azerbaijani media inform about this. As it was
reported before the legislative body of the South Wales state of
Australia adopted a resolution of recognizing Nagorno Karabakh as
the independent state.

Now the Azerbaijanis are angry with this resolution. South Wales state
of Australia had adopted a resolution on “Recognition of the right
of peoples, including Nagorno Karabakh people to self-determination”.

The resolution calls on the government of Australia to recognize the
Nagorno Karabakh Republic and establish relations with it as with
the independent state.
