THE ARMENIAN CHURCH IN MALATYA WILL BE RESTORED

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 22, ARMENPRESS. Works for reconstruction of the
Armenian church Venk (Vank) in Malatya province of Turkey kick off. As
reports “Armenpress” this was announced by Turkish Haberler.com.

Special Regional Department of Malatya Province initiated
the reconstruction works. Concrete construction, that has been
represented as a vault constructed in the territory of the church
will be dismantled.

Taking into consideration the importance and significance of this
enterprise Chairman of Armenian Benevolent Union of Malatya Khosrov
Kyoldevitoglu mentioned that revealing the treasuries of the country
is of a certain importance for them. Among other things he said:
“Execution of such works in Malatya is to prove that the province
restores its former state. Due to the enterprises of this kind Malatya
will become much richer.
