A top-level dialogue between Russia and Armenia promotes closer
relations in all spheres and strengthens strategic partnership
between the two friendly nations, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan
and visiting chairman of the Russian Audit Chamber Sergei Stepashin
agreed at a meeting on Tuesday.

The Armenian leader highly assessed Stepashin’s personal contribution
to the development of the Russian-Armenian ties. He hailed the close
cooperation between the supreme audit agencies of the two countries,
the press service of the Armenian president said.

“Russia’s and Armenia’s supreme audit authorities have been efficiently
cooperating and maintaining close contacts in the recent years,”
Stepashin said and expressed the hope that a joint session of the
Audit Chambers of the two countries due on Wednesday will strengthen
bilateral relations.
