ARMENIA AND US TO DISCUSS OPPORTUNITIES FOR INCREASED ENERGY SECTOR COOPERATION

Yerevan/Mediamax/. The regular meeting of the U.S.-Armenia Joint
Economic Taskforce (USATF) will take place in Yerevan on October 18.
U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Eric Rubin and Coordinator of
U.S. Assistance to Europe and Eurasia Dan Rosenblum will lead the U.S.
delegation.
This year’s meeting will focus on promoting trade and investment,
and opportunities for increased energy sector cooperation.
Established in 1999, the USATF meets annually to discuss ways to
deepen economic ties, and provides an open forum to discuss trade
and investment issues.
