Bako Sahakyan visits Agri-worker trade fair in capital Stepanakert

On 14 October Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan accompanied by
high- ranking officials visited trade fair held in connection with the
Agriculture Worker’s Day in capital Stepanakert.

At the same day, a festive event took place at the
Presidential Residence, where the Head of the State handed in state
awards and valuable gifts to a group of the sphere’s representatives.

In his speech Bako Sahakyan noted that agriculture had
been and would always remain among the key directions of the
republic’s socioeconomic development, which is stipulated by the
peculiarities of our national economy, history and geography.
According to President Sahakyan to solve issues existing in the sphere
as well as to ensure stable rates of development it is necessary to
have a corresponding will, compassionate attitude and painstaking
work. Bako Sahakyan underlined that the outlined programs would
undoubtedly be realized taking into consideration the existence of all
the required conditions.

Head of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic
Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, speaker of National Assembly
Ashot Ghoulyan, premier Ara Haroutyunyan, other officials partook at
the event.
