Computer prices go down in Armenia

YEREVAN. – Armenia is not the first country using computer equipment,
however, Armenians do not imagine their life without it, the Director
General of Unicomp Company Armen Baldryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Computer purchase rate has sharply increased in Armenia along with
increase of competitiveness.
Computer prices went down in the recent three years on average by 40
percent, he informs. If a computer was sold for $1,000, now a notebook
can be purchased for about $500. In addition, notebook purchases are
ahead of PC’s.
