Independent MP Edmon Marukyan, who voted against the petition by
the Armenian Prosecutor General to strip PAP MP Vartan Oskanian of
immunity, has expressed his support for the Civilitas Foundation and
Vartan Oskanian.
“I have expressed my support for the Civilitas Foundation and Oskanian
personally. If necessary, I am ready to help them as a representative
of civil society,” the lawmaker told Panorama.am.
As a lawyer, he meanwhile declined to comment on the legal bases of
Armenian Prosecutor General’s petition.
