ARMENIA’S VANADZOR MUNICIPALITY OFFICIAL CAUGHT WHILE TAKING BRIBE

A chief official of Armenia’s Vanadzor municipality, Lori province,
has been arrested charged with bribery on October 3.
Samvel Mnatsakanyan, chief specialist of municipality’s illegal
construction legalization and management department, has been caught
in his office while taking $1,100 bribe.
The prepared materials have been sent to chief investigation department
of the police.
Earlier a woman has applied to the police saying Mnatsakanyan demanded
$300 bribe for privatization of a garage registered on her mother’s
name as an illegal institution.
