Baku-APA. “No discussions in connection with an attack on Islamic
values that ensued confrontation and tension are planned at the PACE
autumn session,” said member of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE
Rafael Huseynov at a plenary session of the PACE, APA reports.

He noted that the Assembly stipulated that at discussions on Ramil
Safarov’s issue, who is a victim of the Armenian aggression against
Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict would not be touched.

Huseynov called Safarov and Gurgen Margaryan, “young victims of
the conflict.” “They are victims of a brutal war, dirty politics,
organized and controlled by external forces of conflict between the
two peoples. These forces do not allow resolving the Karabakh problem.

One of the young men died 9 years ago, another 9 years was imprisoned.

Over 20 years of conflict killed hundreds of young people. The conflict
will not be resolved, Armenia will not withdraw from the occupied
lands of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani refugees will not return to their
towns and villages, while Armenia pursue a policy of state terrorism,
the threat of new tragedy will continue to grow, “he said.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
