YEREVAN.- Former MP, ex-head of the Armenia social fund Vazgen
Khachikyan has been detained, a source told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to a source, another two people were detained on the same
case. Khachikyan was detained on suspicion of swindling and
embezzlement, police confirmed.

In 2010 Khachikyan was dismissed form the post of fund’s head after
Armenian Control Chamber detected flagrant violations during checkups
into the fund.
