YEREVAN. – Local self-governmental elections in Armenia were
accompanied with bribe distribution, as well as use of administrative
resources, including police and attorney’s office, opposition Armenian
National Congress (ANC) bloc secretary Aram Manukyan told Armenian
News-NEWS.am.

He added that condition of people is so piteous that they look forward
for election bribes to buy essential products. At the same time,
he said that it is not always possible to corrupt voters.

As the agency informed earlier, five regions of Armenia held local
elections on Sept. 23.
