UN Secretary-General assesses high Armenia’s engagement in organization

NEW YORK. – The UN Secretary-General (SG) Ban Ki-moon assessed high
Armenia’s engagement in the organization, UN SG’s congratulatory
message reads on the occasion of Armenia’s Day of Independence. Ban
Ki-moon wrote in particular that he sends the warmest congratulations
to the Armenian President, Government and people on the national
holiday. He assesses high Armenia’s engagement in the UN, which makes
unanimous decisions on universal challenges. In order to achieve
future all desire, the UN has included five questions in the agenda,
which are the following: supporting steady development, building safe
and secure world, overcoming crisis, helping developing countries,
implementing more programs for women and youth. The UN SG believes
that the organization requires reinforcement to achieve the aforesaid
and he assesses high Armenia’s support for more fair, peaceful and
prosperous future.
