ARMENIAN WOMEN BOXERS WILL PARTICIPATE IN EUROPEAN BOXING CHAMPIONSHIP

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS: From November 2 to 10 the Armenian
women boxers will take part in the European Women’s Youth and Junior
Boxing Championship in Poland. This was reported to Armenpress by
the chief trainer of the Armenian Boxing Team, Honored Trainer of
the USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) and the Republic of
Armenia Rafael Mehrabyan.
According to him, 7-8 women boxers will participate in the European
Women’s Adult Boxing Championship in 2013.
Currently in Armenia there are about 25 women boxers, but this number,
according to the trainer, gradually increases.
