Coach says Armenian chess players ready for Istanbul World Olympiad

PanARMENIAN.Net – Armenian’s chess team, headed by Arshak Petrosyan,
is currently getting ready in Tsaghkadzor for Istanbul 2012 World
Chess Olympiad.
`All the members actively participate in the team practice session,
with trainings held twice a day,’ Mr. Petrosyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net
reporter, adding that all the players showed good results in
international tournaments this year.
`We will do the utmost to have successful performance. The event will
bring together a number of strong teams, with Russia, the U.S.,
Azerbaijan, Ukraine, France, Israel among them,’ he said.
Armenia’s line-up for Istanbul Olympiad consists of grandmasters Levon
Aronian, Sergei Movsesian, Vladimir Akopian, Gabriel Sarkissian and
Tigran L. Petrosian.
