level of the Armenian-American defense cooperation

Yerevan, August 15, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian Minister of Defense
Seyran Ohanyan hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary
of the United States of America to Armenia John Heffern and the newly
appointed military attaché of the US Embassy, Colonel Jeffrey Stimson
on August 15.

`Armenpress’ was briefed in the Armenian Public Relations Department
of the Ministry of Defense that congratulating Colonel J. Stimson for
his position of the USA military attaché the Armenian Minister of
Defense expressed hope that the newly appointed military attaché will
contribute to the further development and deepening of the
Armenian-American defense cooperation.

The USA military attaché highly appreciated the current level of the
Armenian-American defense cooperation and assured that successes
registered in the cooperation sphere will be continuous. During the
meeting the Armenian Minister of Defense and the USA Ambassador
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary touched upon the regional security
problems and other issues on bilateral defense cooperation.
