OLD WOMAN COMMIT SUICIDE NOT TO BE BURDEN FOR HER FAMILY

VANADZOR. – A. Stepanyan, 71, hanged herself in own home in Lorut
village of Armenia’s Lori Region on Tuesday. Police confirmed
information for Armenian News-NEWS.am. Materials are being gathered
and examinations will be appointed.
The action of the old woman may be motivated by an alleged decision
not to be a burden for other members in the family, head of the
village community Hrachya Sahakyan told the agency. Sahakyan also
added that Simonyan lived along with her son, daughter-in-law, and
three grown up grandchildren. Her son and daughter-in-law were in the
mountains at the time and she was alone with her grandchildren. The
grandchildren had found their grandmother’s body in the cellar.
