ARMENIAN AGRICULTURE MINISTRY PREDICTS 6% GRAPE HARVEST GROWTH

PanARMENIAN.Net – Armenia’s Agriculture Ministry forecasts 6% growth
of grape harvest in 2012, Minister of Agriculture said.

“I’m sure the grape purchase price this year will be no lower than
that of last year,” Sergo Karapetyan said.

The purchase price of grapes in 2011 totaled on average AMD 120-130.

In this context, he noted that 28% growth has been recorded in the
crop sector in the first half of 2012.
