ZHOGHOVURD: TSARUKYAN’S CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER SUMMONED FOR INTERROGATION

Zhoghovurd, citing well-informed sources, reports that police summoned
PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan’s chief security officer Eduard Babayan
for interrogation but he refuses to appear before the police. Babayan
together with Tsarukyan’s other security officers are facing battery
allegations. During the presidential election of 2008, Babayan beat
member of local electoral commission, HAK representative Larisa
Torosyan, handcuffed her, took her to a dump in Abovyan and threw
her there.
Eduard Babayan denied the rumor, the paper writes.
