ISRAEL DOESN’T CREATE AND WILL NOT CREATE OBSTACLES FOR TOURISTS VISITING KARABAKH

19:50 . 17/07

Israeli Ambassador to Baku Mikhail Lotem told local media that the
visit of Israeli tourists to Nagorno-Karabakh was an individual visit
and didn’t reflect Israel’s official position.

The fact that Israeli tourists travelled to the Nagorno-Karabakh
Republic angered official Baku, and as we have already informed a
note of protest was even sent to the Israeli Ambassador in Azerbaijan
connected with this.

Director General of Magma-Trevel LTD Menahem Abadi, which organized the
tour to the Nagorno-Karbakh Republic, informed, in turn, that Mikhail
Lotem hasn’t asked him to give up the tour to the Nagorno-Karabakh
Republic.

“He only wanted to know the aim of our visit and I answered it was
just tourism. We check everything beforehand before excursions. There
was no reason not to go there,” the director of the organization said.

Abadi said official Israel didn’t create any obstacle for visiting
Nagorno-Karabakh.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
