WORLD BEST WOMAN CHESS-PLAYERS TO GATHER IN JERMUK

Yerevan, July 16, ARMENPRESS: World best woman chess-players will
participate in Women’s Chess Grand Prix 5th round tournament on July
17, Jermuk, the Chess Federation of Armenia informed “Armenpress”.
Chinese Hou Yifane, Tszyuy Ventszyaye, Juan Lufey, Chzhao Syueye,
Indian Humpy Koneru, Ukranian Kateryna Lahno, Georgian Nino Khurtsidze,
Russians Nadezhda Kosintseva and Yevgenia Kovalevskaya, Mongholian
Mongholtul will participate in the tournament.
The Grandmasters Elina Danielyan and Lilit Lazarian represent
Armenia in this tournament. Lazarian will replace Russian Alexandra
Kostenyuk, who is unable to participate in the tournament because of
health problems.
Grand Prix is one of the most prestigious tournaments held under the
auspice of the International Chess Federation.
