7 ARMENIANS ARE AMONG NEW LIST OF RUSSIAN FLOOD FATALITIES

The Russian authorities have publicized the new list of those
persons who lost their lives as a result of the flood that ravaged
the Krasnodar Krai’s (federal subject) Krymsk city.
And this list includes these seven Armenians:
Susanna Buyuklyan, Zaven Davtyan (born in 1968), Tevos Davtyan,
Iulitta Kapustyan, Tatiana Medolyan, Hovhannes Shahbazyan, and Lydia
Shahbazyan.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, the July 7 floods inundated
close to 5,000 homes in the Krai’s three cities-Gelendzhik, Krymsk,
and Novorossiysk-and several villages. And according to latest data,
a total of 171 persons died-159 in the Crimean Oblast (Region), 2 in
Novorossiysk, and 10 in Gelendzhik. And close to 24,000 people were
affected by the floods.
