POPE’S ENVOY CHANTS LITURGY DEDICATED TO CHRISTIAN ARMENIANS

Armenia: Stones Survive People photo exhibition of works of Stanislav
Pinderay officially opened at the Catholic House of Sieradz town of
Å~Aódź Voivodship, Poland.

According to the press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church Zenon Grocholewski, envoy of
the Pope, chanted a liturgy at the Sieradz temple on the occasion of
the opening of the exhibition, dedicated to the Christian Armenians.

The envoy of the Pope highly assessed the role of the Armenian Church
and the people in dissemination of Christianity and formation of
contemporary civilization, expressing conviction over opportunities
of further rapprochement of sister churches.

After the opening of the exhibition, an official reception took place
attended by high-ranking spirituals, representatives of municipal
bodies and others attended the event.
