YEREVAN, JULY 5, ARMENPRESS: NATO is concerned about the tension on
the Armenian-Azerbaijani contact line. As Armenpress reports citing
Azeri mass media , James Appathurai NATO Secretary General’s Special
Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia came forth with the
statement.
`’NATO is concerned over incidents on the border between Armenia and
Azerbaijan and the Line of Contact” James Appathurai stated at the
briefing with Azeri mass media representatives.
Within the framework of his visit to Azerbaijan June 5-6, Appathurai
is scheduled to have meetings with top ranking officials, to take part
in NATO week activities, Jeyranchol demining opening ceremony
initiated by Azerbaijani National Agency for Mine Action ANAMA, is set
to meet with `Crises response: International Communities’ approaches,
capacities and resources’ NISA Summer Session participants due July
1-7 in Baku.
