The third Armenian-Austrian Business Forum was convened in Yerevan
today. Sixteen Austrian companies participate in the forum.
Despite the warm friendly relations, the economic cooperation between
Armenia and Austria is not that active. The commodity turnover reduced
to $50 mln in 2011 against the $61 mln in 2010.
Director of the Armenian Development Agency Robert Harutyunyan says
the decline is connected with the global financial-economic crisis. He
is confident that the recurrent Armenian-Austrian business forum will
promote the development of economic ties.
