DEAD NEWBORN FOUND IN ARMENIAN VILLAGE CANAL

YEREVAN. – The body of a dead newborn was discovered Monday in a
water canal of Mayisyan village of Armenia’s Armavir Region. The
newborn was a boy and its umbilical cord was not even cut off.

The farmers working in the field found the newborn’s body and called
the law enforcement, Armenian News-NEWS.am’s source informed. It is
not yet known as to how the child appeared in the water channel.

The Police confirmed such call and informed that the circumstances
are being ascertained.
