Baku. Anakhanim Hidayatova – APA. The National Committee of
Turkish-Armenian relations established within the Council of Higher
Education of Turkey (YOK) was abolished.

APA reports quoting Turkish “Gazeteport” news portal that the
committee that has been working since 2003, was dealing with such
issues as carrying out researches about Turkish-Armenian relations,
Armenian culture, politics, society in higher educational institutions
and the establishment of dialogue and cooperation between Turkish and
Armenian education facilities. The committee included 2 YOK members,
7 scientists and 5 experts specialized on Armenian issue and the
Caucasus.
