YEREVAN CITY HALL HOSTS DISCUSSIONS ON TOURISM

YEREVAN. – Armenian capital city Yerevan Mayor’s adviser Aram Sukiasyan
met with the representatives of several tourism agencies from Hungary,
Slovakia, Georgia and Russia, who are visiting Yerevan.

The Mayor’s advisor presented to the guests Yerevan Municipality’s
programs toward developing tourism in the city, and the tourism-related
events scheduled to take place this year in Yerevan.

And as an emphasis placed on the tourism sector, Sukiasyan highlighted
the existence of a separate department on tourism within the
Municipality Staff.

Also, the guests were introduced to the Yerevan City Tour program,
which is the only one of its kind in the region.

At the end of the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on
conducting mutual visits to make the partnership ties more tangible.
