Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received on May 29 the member of the
House of Lords of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern
Ireland, Baroness Caroline Cox. Press service of Armenian President
informs about this.

The President welcomed the Baroness and hailed her years-long
assistance to Armenia and Artsakh, humanitarian activities and efforts
directed at the strengthening of the Armenian-British relations.

Serzh Sargsyan underscored that our nation has a special attitude
towards its friends and remembers them with everlasting gratitude and
appreciation. The President of Armenia expressed confidence that in
the history the name of Baroness Caroline Cox will be in the vanguard
of the names that will always be remembered as the nation’s greatest
friends.

President Serzh Sargsyan and Baroness Cox spoke about the reforms being
implemented in Armenia, priorities of development for our country,
Armenia-European Union cooperation, and stressed the importance of
a consistent work with the international community on dissemination
of the unbiased and complete information on the Nagorno Karabakh issue.
