The atmosphere of impunity is the key reason why the morale in schools
is deteriorating, professor of Yerevan State University Artur Atanesyan
told journalists on Thursday.
“Today, our school-children and their parents and teachers prefer the
form over the content and care more for the grandeur of the Farewell
Bell party than for the quality of education,” Atanesyan said.
President of the Association of Consumers of Armenia Armen Pogosyan
said that because of this holiday (involving over 40,000 school-leavers
this year) the prices of clothes, flowers, public catering and
photography services have risen by 5-7%
