Friday, May 11th at 7:00 p.m. all are welcome to come to a 100th Birthday Celebration for William Saroyan at Charlie Keyan Armenian Community School.
Fresno photographer Paul Kalinian who wrote and directed the documentary `William Saroyan- the Man’ will be present as well as his daughter, producer, Dr. Susie Kalinian. They will show their documentary and answer questions. Their film was awarded the 1995 Gold Award for Best Documentary at the Philadelphia International Film Festival. In addition it has received numerous International film festival awards.

Students will read from their favorite Saroyan passages.

There will be birthday refreshments.
