TEHRAN – Iran exported over 132,000 tons of gasoline, worth around
$134 million, last year (which ended on March 19), the ISNA News
Agency reported.

According to customs administration data, gasoline exports rose by 127
percent in value and 108.5 percent in volume, respectively, compared
to the year before.

Armenia, Afghanistan, UAE, Iraq and Oman were the destinations for
Iranian gasoline, the report said, adding that Afghanistan was the
major importer, accounting for $51.6 million of the total exports.

Deputy Oil Minister Alireza Zeighami has said that Iran is now
exporting gasoline and diesel fuel to neighboring countries.

He added that Iraq, Armenia, Afghanistan, and Pakistan were now
importing or have called for the importation of gasoline and diesel
fuel from Iran.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
