OBAMA NOMINATES RICHARD MORNINGSTAR AS US AMBASSADOR TO AZERBAIJAN

US President Barack Obama has submitted to the Congress his nomination
of Richard Morningstar-Special Envoy of the US Secretary of State
for Eurasian Energy-as US Ambassador to Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani
media inform, referring to the Press Service of the US Embassy in Baku.
In 1999-2001, Morningstar served as US Ambassador to the European
Union. And in April 2009, he was appointed Special Envoy of the US
Secretary of State for Eurasian Energy, RIA Novosti News Agency of
Russia reports.
