KURDISH MPS SUGGEST TO DECLARE APRIL 24 DAY OF MOURNING

Kurdish “Peace and Democracy” (BDP) Party MP Syry Sureie Onder could be
found among those gathered in Taksim Square of Istanbul to commemorate
the victims of Armenian slaughters and forced evacuation.
According to CnnTurk tribute was paid to the memory of the innocent
victims, posters and photographs depicting the arrested or killed
Armenian intellectuals and Hrant Drank murdered in 2007 were put
on view.
Onder said they are going to introduce a draft law to the Turkish
Parliament suggesting to declare April 24 “day of mourning and
compassion for Armenian people.”
