Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Chairman of Ukraine’s Supreme Rada Vladimir
Litvin is staying with a visit in Azerbaijan.

At the briefing in Baku, V.Litvin stated that Ukraine sticks to
position of respect of Azerbaijan’s sovereignty and territorial
integrity at internationally -recognized norms.

“We stick to the position and will do in future, that this is
very difficult and bloody conflict ( Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno
Garabagh conflict- interlinear note from abc.az) should be solved in
peaceful ways and opportunities. Ukraine is now getting ready for its
Chairmanship in OSCE in 2013 and we are determined to spare no effort
for doing everything to shift this process from formal point. At
present , the countries which are part of OSCE Minsk Group (the USA,
France and Russia) pay attention to this issue, but they put and will
further put foremost political campaign issues in their countries
“,- V. Litvin said.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
