YEREVAN, April 20. /ARKA/. Production of unmanned aerial vehicles
(UAV) in Armenia is a promising direction, according to the president
of Russian United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) Mikhail Pogosyan.

“I have not studied in detail this issue and therefore not ready to
give estimates. However, this industry is very promising and I think
if there is a backlog for the promotion and development of a relevant
strategy, it makes sense to work on it,” he said in response to a
question form ARKA.

Armenian drones Krunk (Crane) were first demonstrated at a military
parade dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Armenia’s independence.

Their development took several years. Armenian drones belongs to the
middle class drones, which include 60% of operating UAVs worldwide.

According to experts, electronic devices of Krunk work smoothly.
