Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Today Chairman of Azerbaijani Parliament Ogtay
Asadov has received Chairman of Russian Federal Assembly’s Federation
Council Valentina Matviyenko staying with a visit in Azerbaijan on
occasion of 20-year anniversary of Azerbaijani- Russian diplomatic
relations.

Asadov voiced hope that Russia’s newly elected President Vladimir
Putin will keep on implementation of his predecessor’s initiatives on
Armenian- Azerbaijani Nagorno Garabagh conflict arrangement within OSCE
Minsk Group and tradition of three partite summits on this problem.
At the meeting it was also noted that over 160 interstate agreements
were signed between the countries for 20 years of diplomatic relations.
