LARGE FIRE BREAKS OUT ON ARMENIA – GEORGIA BORDER

A fire broke out on the Armenian – Georgian border in Armenia’s Lori
region, near Gogavan Village in Tashir region at 1.15 p.m. on Friday.

As the correspondent of Armenian News-NEWS.am reports from the scene,
10 firefighters from Tashir Region’s firefighting department are
conducting fire extinguishing works.

In some parts the fire crossed to the Georgian border. Georgian border
keepers help Armenian firefighters.

At this point 15 hectares of forest have burnt.

To note, in the last three days 45 fire cases were registered in Lori
region. 19 cases were registered today.
