ARMENIAN OMBUDSMAN TURNS TO PARLIAMENT ON 8 SERVICEMEN CASES DIED IN ARMY

YEREVAN. – Armenian Ombudsman Karen Andreasyan turned to the Parliament
Speaker Samvel Nikoyan, PAP MP Aram Safaryan, ARF Dashnakstutyun MP
Hrayr Karapetyan and Heritage MP Larisa Alaverdyan asking about the
cases of the 8 servicemen.

“We, along with the parents of those eight servicemen, who died in the
Army, met with you last September and presented some painful issues.

Later with your advice and request presented also the files containing
data on those servicemen. We know that you have turned to the
corresponding bodies and got responses. Hence, we and the parents are
asking to let us know all the responses, violations or estimations
of the issues, your further steps and expectations before the next
parliament elections,” the statement reads.
