ARMENIA HAS GREAT EXPECTATIONS FROM PARTICIPATION IN CANNES’ FILM FESTIVAL’S FILM MARKET

YEREVAN, MARCH 30, ARMENPRESS. For already the fourth time Armenia will
be represented at Cannes” film festival”s film market with a separate
pavilion. Speaking to Armenpress, director of Armenia”s national
cinema center Gevorg Gevorgyan said eleven film producing companies
will be presented to the festival from Armenia which will present
more than 20 projects – animation, feature and documentary films.

“Every day we will present in our pavilion interesting projects which
will attract the attention of world film loving society,” he said.

Gevorg Gevorgyan assured that participation in the festival will open
wide prospects of cooperation for Armenia. Armen Bruno”s film “Your
Pain is Mine” has already been sent and approved for participation in
the festival, though the final response has not come. “We are waiting
for response at any moment,” the director of the cinema center said.
