YEREVAN. – Estonian Ministry of Finance Secretary General Veiko Tali,
who is currently in the Armenian capital Yerevan and is delivering
lectures on pension reforms, was surprised by the presence of male
hairdressers in the capital.

And he was even more surprised by the fact that he did not pay directly
to the hairdresser, but rather to the administrator, and the latter
had given him a receipt.

“In my country I always gave the money to the hairdresser, and the
hairdresser never gives a receipt. It seems you are more progressive,”
the Estonian official jokingly said while delivering remarks at an
international seminar-consultation on social security and pension
reforms, which is being held in Yerevan.
