Resolutions of the UN Security Council remain unimplemented almost 20
years and this injustice continues, said Ilham Aliyev, the President
of the Republic of Azerbaijan at nationwide Novruz festivities in Baku,
APA reports.
Baku-APA. The head of the State noted that in some cases the
resolutions of the UN have been implemented at once-within hours. But
for Azerbaijan it is still on the papers for 20 years. The President
assessed it as an injustice, violation of the international law and
indifference of super states to the violation of the international law.
“We will put our effort to end this injustice with the help of the
states supporting us. International law norms should be restored. The
occupiers should be withdrawn from our historical territories –
Nagorno Karabakh and adjoining regions.
Territorial integrity of Azerbaijan recognized by the international
community should be restored. We will never let creation of the second
so called Armenian state in Azerbaijani territories. Azerbaijan should
and will restore sovereignty and territorial integrity”, said Ilham
Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan.
