PLAY TELLING ABOUT ARMENIAN GENOCIDE STAGED IN MONTREAL

Premiere of ‘State of Denial’ play took place at McGill University in
Montreal, Canada on March 16 with the support of the Armenian Embassy
in Canada. The play will be staged until April 1, five days a week.

The author of the play is Rahul Varma. The play is about the Armenians
who stayed in Turkey after the genocide and are struggling to preserve
their national identity.

Armenian Ambassador to Canada Armen Yeganyan was present during
the premiere, he came up with an opening speech and expressed his
gratitude to the organizers.
