FRANCOIS HOLLANDE RECEIVES REPRESENTATIVES OF ARMENIAN COMMUNITY

Representatives of the Armenian community of France met with
presidential candidate Francois Hollande in his Paris campaign
headquarters, Nouvelles d`Armenie reports.
During his meeting with the representatives of the French Coordination
Council of Armenian Organizations, Hollande reiterated readiness to
penalize the denial of the Armenian Genocide. He stressed that if
elected he would present the relevant draft bill.
Francois Hollande said he stands for government’s participation in
the construction of the Armenian Genocide memorial in Paris scheduled
for 2015. He added that would pay special attention to non-resumption
of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Earlier this month the representatives of the Armenian community met
with incumbent President Nicolas Sarkozy.
