ARMENIA’S FOREIGN NATIONAL DEBT AMOUNTS TO $3.57 BILLION

As of January 1, 2012, Armenia’s foreign national debt amounts to
$3.57 billion.

As the press service of Armenian National Statistics’ Service
informed Armenian News-NEWS.am, in 2011 Armenia’s foreign national
debt increased by 8.2 percent or $270 million.

Armenia’s highest creditor remains the World Bank, as Armenia owes
$1.33 billion to the WB (37.5 percent of the total foreign debt).
