Baku. Kamala Guliyeva – APA. The next letter sent by the Azerbaijani
serviceman Mammadbagir Akhundzadeh, who was captured by Armenian
servicemen on January 23, has been made public.
The captive’s father Talib Akhundzadeh told APA that the letter
was short: “I am safe and sound. Take care of yourself. Don’t worry
about me”.
Corporal of Azerbaijani Army, Akhundzadeh Mammadbagir Talib, 22, was
captured by Armenians on the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenian
troops, near Yukhari Chayli village of Terter region. Azerbaijan’s
Defense Ministry confirmed the fact.
Representatives of the ICRC visited Akhundzadeh on January 26, 30 an
February 2.
