TURKEY TO BACK AZERBAIJAN IN CASE OF US-IRANIAN CLASH – RUSSIAN EXPERT

Turkey will more closely cooperate with Azerbaijan, backing the
country in case the United States clashes with Iran, according to a
Russian expert.

“Iran may strike a blow to its neighboring non-friends, causing
Azerbaijan to undertake the protection of its oil infrastructures.

Turkey may supply Patriot Systems to Azerbaijan to protect the
country,” Igor Petruchenko, a member of the Russian Public Chamber
has said.

The expert also addressed the possible developments around
Nagorno-Karabakh, noting that the Azerbaijani authorities may benefit
from such situation to settle the conflict.

“The situation here is more complicated,” he said.
