Armenia, Iran Sign Cooperation Pacts

Yerevan, December 23 (QNA) – Armenia and Iran here on Friday signed
five agreements for joint cooperation within the framework of the
current visit by Iranian President Moahmoud Ahmadinejad to Yerevan .

The agreements included the establishment of a plant to generate
electric power and cooperation in the areas of environment and social
affairs.

Ahmadinejad arrived in Armenia earlier in the day on a one-day visit
during which he had held talks with his Armenian counterpart Serzh
Sarkisian on ways to strengthen relations between the two countries,
as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.(QNA)
