ARMENIA HOLDS MINESWEEPER ROBOTS’ COMPETITION

YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Open Competition on Robots (ArmRobotics) will
hold final round on Minesweeper robots competition on Saturday, the
Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) informs Armenian
News-NEWS.am.

The minesweeper robots search the territory, find the mines, fix
their position and create an electronic map of the examined area.

Winners of the tournament will receive AMD 400,000 ($1080), 300,000
($800) and 200,000 ($550) award respectively for the first, second
and third places.

The competition is organized by the UITE, supported by the Armenian
MOD, Tumo center for creative technologies and Microsoft Innovation
center.
