A blast occured at the ‘Arbit’ bitumen factory in the village of
Surenavan in the Araratskaya Region of Armenia this morning, News
Armenia reports.

A container with a capacity of 200 tons of fuel oil exploded. A
fire-fighting group arrived. The fire was put out in a few minutes.

The top part of the container was damaged, two tons of tar was burned.

The Armenian-Russian factory Arbit was opened in May 2009.
